World Vision International President Andrew Morley Visits Taiwan CMUH Hosts First Institutional Exchange, Advancing Collaborative Care for Children and Communities

CMUH Becomes the First Institution in Taiwan to Host an Exchange, Reflecting a Shared Commitment to Children, Families, and Community Care

Andrew Morley, President and CEO of World Vision International, recently visited Taiwan, with China Medical University Hospital (CMUH) serving as the first institution in the country to host an exchange during his visit. The occasion reflected World Vision’s recognition of CMUH’s longstanding dedication to children’s health, rural medical outreach, and support for vulnerable families, while also highlighting the strong partnership the two organizations have built over the years.

Through its frontline medical services, CMUH continues to witness the real challenges faced by children and families in underserved communities and to respond with compassion, professional expertise, and meaningful action. For CMUH, healthcare extends beyond clinical treatment alone; it is also a commitment to standing alongside those in need and bringing care, dignity, and hope to where it is needed most.

Since 2016, CMUH and World Vision have worked together in a partnership that has grown from emergency relief into long-term community empowerment and sustainable development. By integrating medical expertise with social engagement, the two organizations continue to support children and families in Taiwan and beyond, helping to build a healthier, more hopeful, and more resilient future.
