Dr. David Chang speaks very fluent English and can understand English accents from all over the world. Many foreign patients are relieved to find Dr. Chang, who could understand their heavy accents. His specialty is internal medicine and kidney diseases.

Prof. Yi-Hsing Chen is the present Vice-superintendent of the Center at CMUH. After earning her MD from China Medical University in 1991 and completing her residency and fellowship at Taichung Veterans General Hospital, Dr. Chen pursued her PhD in Molecular Allergology at Tunghai University (2004-2009). She enhanced her expertise as a visiting scientist at Johns Hopkins Asthma and Allergy Center (2002-2003) and through Harvard Medical School's Program for Leading Innovations in Health Care and Education in 2008.Dr. Chen has held significant leadership positions, including Director of the Division of Allergy, Immunology & Rheumatology at Taichung Veterans' General Hospital (2013-2019) , Deputy Director of the Department of Internal Medicine (2019-2024) and Vice-Superintendent of Center of Rheumatology and Immunology of China Medical University (2025 till present). She currently serves as an Executive Member on the Board of Directors for both the Chinese Society of Immunology and Taiwan College of Rheumatology. Her research contributions are extensive, with over 180 peer-reviewed publications focusing on autoimmune diseases, allergic disorders, and innovative treatments. Her pioneering work on biting midge allergies has resulted in three patents, including a needle-free patch vaccine. Dr. Chen's excellence has been recognized with numerous awards, including the 2021, 2022, 2023 and 2025 National Innovation Awards and being named among the Top 100 Best Physicians in Taiwan. She remains actively involved in clinical trials, serving as principal investigator for more than 100 global studies spanning all development phases.

Dr. Ying-Yu Tseng is the attending physician of the Department of Metabolism at the China Medical University Hospital. Her clinical and research interests are: therapy of diabetes mellitus and pituitary disease and autoimmune thyroid disease.
