Wan-Yu Lai

Director
Holds dual qualifications in both Western and Traditional Chinese Medicine, integrating knowledge from both disciplines to provide comprehensive care for patients. Specializes in allergic diseases, growth and development issues, nasal congestion, chronic cough, sleep-disordered breathing, and constitution adjustment for preterm infants. Received SNQ National Quality Mark recognition for integrated Chinese and Western medical care for pediatric allergies. Dedicated to child care with expertise in laser acupuncture, pediatric Tuina, herbal baths, and medicinal teas, offering alternative treatment options for children who have difficulty taking medications. Known for a warm and attentive approach to patient care, and has been recognized as a Friendly Ambassador and an Outstanding Attending Physician at the hospital.

Dr. Cheng-Hao Huang has served in the Department of Chinese Medicine Pediatrics for over fifteen years, specializing in pediatric acupuncture. His treatments are tailored to each child’s individual constitution and can incorporate both herbal medicine and acupuncture to alleviate symptoms. Although children may initially resist acupuncture, Dr. Huang’s gentle demeanor and extensive clinical experience allow him to patiently guide and educate them, gradually helping them adapt and improve. His approach has earned him the trust of both parents and children. Dr. Huang is skilled in treating Tourette syndrome, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, autism spectrum disorder, cerebral palsy, developmental delays, Parkinson's disease, post-stroke sequelae, and dementia.

Szu-Yu Pan

Chief Resident
Dr. Szu-Yu Pan is a dedicated physician specializing in pediatric traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) , with extensive training in both Eastern and Western medical approaches. Dr. Pan completed specialized TCM training at China Medical University Hospital, along with advanced studies in pediatric endocrinology and child and adolescent mental health at the affiliated Children's Hospital. Her clinical focus includes managing childhood growth and developmental disorders, mental health, early intervention, pediatric allergies, and general pediatric care. Additionally, she has pursued advanced training in gynecological care and laser acupuncture, with a family-centered approach to health and wellness. Integrating TCM practices such as herbal medicine, acupuncture, low-energy laser acupuncture, and therapeutic massage, along with dietary and lifestyle guidance. This holistic approach is tailored to support patients’ specific health needs. Dr. Pan finds great fulfillment in watching children gradually recover and is committed to providing patient-centered care that supports both children and their families.
